Go Bananas!

A #Banana a day also keeps the doctor away! Just like Apples do! Bananas are a perfect snack or meal. #Ancient records show that banana cultivation in Egypt goes back 8,000 years. Bananas even appear in Egyptian Hieroglyphics. Records in New Guinea show that bananas were being grown back that far as well. Bananas just like Apples are one of #Nature's nutritional powerhouses. It’s unreal how many vitamins, minerals and proteins are in a small single package called a banana.


The nature of bananas is far more interesting than most could ever imagine. Ancients recorded that bananas got to our world from solar winds that picked them up from the planet Venus (Goddess of Love). Venus is also called "Earth's Twin Sister” because they are both the same size. Bananas grow on huge plants (not trees) and botanically bananas are berries, most don’t even know this. The banana plant is the largest plant in the world, growing up to 15 meters/45 feet high and belongs to the same family as the Orchid and Lily.

A single banana is called, 'a finger’ and they, "grow in hands” (bunches) of around 10-20. The word banana actually comes from the Arabic word for fingers which is banan. Today's nutritional studies show that just one banana has loads of vitamin C, potassium, phosphorus, proteins, manganese, vitamin A, all of the B vitamins including riboflavin, niacin, B6, & folic acid, calcium, magnesium, iron and zinc. They have Nature’s healthy sugars and fibers.


Bananas delivery quick energy this is why it’s the number-one fruit among athletes. Bananas can help to overcome and prevent a huge range of illnesses and ailments including lowering blood pressure which can protect against heart disease and strokes. They even help your bowel movements to be regular. Even those with depression feel much better after eating a banana, this is because of the tryptophan, a type of protein found in bananas which the body converts into serotonin which relaxes you and lifts your moods. Bananas soothe intestinal disorders. 

Hold on to that Peel! They are so Appealing to your health as well! Don’t be so quick to throw that banana peel away they are medicinal and even aesthetic! Did you know that rubbing the inside of the Banana Peel onto an insect or mosquito bite can reduce itching, swelling and irritation? It can even clear away rashes. If you tape a piece of banana peel over a splinter, the enzymes help the splinter to make it’s way out. I’ve helped hundreds of people around the world get rid of headaches by rubbing the banana peel onto their foreheads.


Food science has found a name of the Banana being ‘musa sapientum’ meaning “Fruit of the Wise." Ancient Healers knew this about Bananas and that Nature’s plant foods are our Medicines.


Eating yellow bananas, as many as you can, is obviously a wise thing to do. The color yellow is extremely healing and protective. This is why the Yellow Sun is so Healing Mentally, Emotionally, Physically and even Socially.
